> OpenShield-XDP Game and Game Pro compared — price, instances per license, engine presets, campaign signatures, and support, plus which tier fits you.

Both editions run the same kernel XDP pipeline with the game-tuned profile described
in the [overview](/docs/openshield-xdp-game/game-profile-overview). Game Pro adds
fleet management, per-engine detection, and faster help when you are a target.

## Compare Game and Game Pro side by side

| | Game | Game Pro |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Price | $29.99 one-time | $49.99 one-time |
| Instances per license | 1 server | Up to 5 instances |
| UDP flood mitigation, lobby-safe filtering, query/RCON shielding, Bloom whitelist | Yes | Yes |
| Multi-instance console | — | Yes |
| Engine presets (Source, FiveM, Minecraft, Rust) | — | Yes |
| Campaign signatures — priority rule pushes during live attack campaigns | — | Yes |
| Support | Standard | Priority, direct ticket escalation |

Both licenses are one-time purchases with lifetime updates included — there is no
renewal. Setup is also identical on both tiers: same agent, same config at
`/etc/openshield/openshield.yaml`, same console connection. Both editions protect the
same protocol set, so the choice is about scale and response speed, not filtering
depth.

## Which edition you should pick

**Pick Game** if you run a single community server. You get the full game-tuned
profile — per-player token buckets, lobby-safe burst handling, A2S/RCON shielding —
for one server, forever.

**Pick Game Pro** if you run a fleet or a public target. Five instances per license
cover a multi-server community on one purchase, engine presets match detection to
your actual traffic, and campaign signatures push priority rules to you while an
attack campaign is still running. Priority support escalates your tickets directly
when downtime is costing you players.
